The Old Glory Relay 2016 set a new course across America, connecting communities under the unifying spirit of Old Glory. Starting on September 11th with a Reveille ceremony in Redmond, Washington, participants moved Old Glory south along the West Coast through the Cascade Range, before crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and through San Francisco. Continuing south Old Glory connected Team RWB Eagles in Los Angeles and San Diego before heading eastward through the desert landscapes of Arizona and New Mexico and crossing the entirety of Texas. Following the Gulf Coast, participants moved Old Glory across southern Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. For the final stretch the relay crossed the Florida Panhandle before finishing in Tampa, home of Team Red, White and Blue, on November 11th with a fitting Retreat Celebration.
